In the last 20 years the number of people over 65 in Spain has grown from 16% of the year 2000, to 20% that we have registered in 2021. However, and despite the fact that the largest population is increasing and its Dental treatments needs have been changing, dental attention has not specialized as one would expect in this sector of the population. What are the keys to attend to the care of the elderly? What aspects are essential and we must improve to give this group a quality treatment?
